Another really popular online homeschool planner is Homeschool Planet. Homeschool Planet is an all-in-one homeschool, work, and life planner.

They offer not only to help you keep your kids’ schoolwork organized, but also appointments, soccer practice, chores, and everything in between.

Homeschool Planet has two features that make my planner-loving heart get all excited. The first is their automatic rescheduling and the second is being able to add web links to assignments for your students.

Automatic Rescheduling

Automatic rescheduling is probably one of the coolest features I’ve come across when it comes to homeschool planners. As I’m sure you know, homeschool life can get a little crazy.

Being able to go on random playdates or take an impromptu field trip is one of the big perks of homeschooling. (Read through some quick and easy field trip ideas here!)

But sometimes when you use schedules or planners it can be a hassle to make adjustments when things go off schedule. The automatic rescheduling lets you easily move things around.

You can easily shift your entire schedule back when life gets crazy or just reschedule 1 or 2 missed assignments.

Adding Weblinks to Assignments

My other favorite feature from Homeschool Planet is the ability to add web links to assignments for your students. Because my students use different homeschool curriculum packages for different subjects, sometimes it can be a hassle having them switch back and forth and make sure they’re on the correct lesson each day.

By being able to add links to their schedule in Homeschool Planet, my kids only have to log in to 1 site and then easily access all their lessons from the same place. It also saves me the hassle of having to remind them each day what subjects they need to tackle before they are done with their schoolwork.

Beyond all the other pretty top-notch features that Homeschool Planet has to offer, they do offer another feature that is a huge time-saver for busy homeschooling parents: their Lesson Plan Marketplace.

The Lesson Plan Marketplace is a section of their site where they offer lesson plans for popular curricula. Instead of you having to sit down and plan out every lesson for each child, you purchase the lesson plan for your curriculum, answer a few questions, and it will seamlessly populate into your schedule.
