“Can I Homeschool Myself WITHOUT Parents?” It seems like a funny question, but I get many emails from students asking if they can homeschool themselves without parents.
They also ask for the best strategies to convince their parents to let them home educate. The answer to this question is yes and no. That is, yes, you can do your education at home, but, if you’re doing online school it wouldn’t technically be a homeschool.
You can sign up for an online school like Veritas Press, Abeka Academy, or Bob Jones Homeschool and they’ll all accredited.
This means you can show universities your transcript which will look like any other school student’s transcript. Can you homeschool yourself without parents in the traditional sense?
(That is, without transcripts?)
That is a possiblility too. You just have to check it is legal in your state. If you do this, you can go with the free curriculum Easy Peasy All-in-One. If you want to study further, sit the SAT or ACT and do a portfolio.
Otherwise, I would highly reccommend doing independent, self-motivated study into business. Get some library books on business and start up your own business.
Do lots of research and by the time your 21-years-old, you could be a successful entrepreneur! So, go for it! Get started today.
